New Starters

You or your child will be taught kickboxing, clinch and groundwork skills, developing martial arts skills for sport and self protection purposes. There aren’t any distractions of style, politics or gymnastic martial arts getting in the way of achieving real effectiveness in dealing with varying scenarios.

There is a rolling programme for new starters with no specific dates. Anyone new to martial arts or adding to their training regime are welcome. As we promote natural and effective abilities, children and adults can quickly adapt our training approach to meet their needs.

Children : Any child over aged seven are welcome to attend the tuesday or wednesday session.

Teenagers and adults can also train full contact, light contact, thai boxing, boxing, real self defense.

Chadwell Kickboxing and Martial Arts teaches the most practical martial art techniques known to man. You will not find a more effective or more complete self-defense program. Everything you learn could potentially be used in a real self-defense situation. This is a non-traditional program with no forms, no rituals, no uniforms and no nonsense. These techniques have been taught to police officials.

You'll cross-train within or choose between the systems which are world renown for being the most efficient for full-contact competition and real fighting and self defence:

  • Realistic self defense (practical & effective)
  • Muay Thai (Thai Kickboxing)
  • freestyle kickboxing (as devised by Rob wood)
  • karate (free style multi disiplined)
  • sun kune do (steve joseph's art)

The program at chadwell Kickboxing is based on the open-minded philosophy of rob wood, he has included very effective programmes to enhance your skills in all of the above, real fighting has no rules, & with this in mind any system that does not look at all other styles will fail..

chadwell Kickboxing is an organization that's dedicated to staying on the cutting edge of martial arts and self-defense training. We are committed to helping you reach your goals. Come find out why becoming a part of Chadwell Kickboxing could be a life changing event. Don't wait another day. Call today!!

Equipment

Initially you only need tracksuit bottoms and a T-shirt / Vest top, these will be more than suitable to start with (black if possible – club colours!).  However the most comfortable choice would be to wear the Club clothing which can be supplied through chadwell Kickboxing.  It is amazing how much better a kick looks once you have a pair of black/red kickboxing trousers with a  stripe down the side !!!!  As for the equipment, all of the padded kick shields and focus mitts are provided. So you can punch and kick all of your stress out, without hurting anybody or yourselves.  After a few weeks, for your protection, you are encouraged to purchase boxing gloves, as gloves protect your joints when hitting the heavy bags, focus mitts for the same.  If you choose to spar (fight) at a later date, then kick boots, head guards, mouth guards, groin guards (men) and shin pads are needed.

In your first class you'll learn the stance and the basic footwork including how to advance and retreat, how to move to your left and right, and how to turn and face your opponent. We'll also show you how to wrap your hands and how to punch properly so you don't hurt yourself. You'll learn a few basic kicks, how to put a combination together, how to work on the heavy bag and how to work with  the bag mitts.

we train your muscles to be stronger, harder and more usefull in the art of kickboxing?
the centre of the body is most important when it comes to kicking and punching, the stronger the centre the stronger the person.
