why the need?

Occasionally things can happen that you do not expect, accidents, injury's they can and do occur? even in the best run schools.
in times past the need for insurances in martial arts was not always nessessary? today we live in a blame culture, were everyone is accountable to someone or something, personaly I have always taken out liabillity insurance, but i have experience of instructors who have not? i have witnessed first hand this kind of instructor, & in my oppinion he/she has no regard for the safety and well being of himself or his/her students.
I will put this question to you, if you insure your car/house why on earth would you not insure yourself or your child

IN OUR CLUB IT IS A REQUIREMENT THAT ALL STUDENTS ARE LICENSED & INSURED.
like wise the instructors.

ROB WOOD.
i am a qualified first aider and have renewed this certificate over the last 9 years, i have only had to use first aid twice in nearly 18 years of teaching, we have made it a rule that all our instructors MUST be trained in first aid.
