Code of Conduct

 

  • Kickboxing is a highly effective and practical method of self defense and must only be used when absolutely necessary and then only with the minimum force sufficient to subdue an attacker or stop him or Her.  You must not attack first unless your life or another life is in danger and there is no other action open to you. 

 

  • Students must obtain the instructors permission to leave the training area during a lesson.

 

  • Respect must be shown at all time to instructors.  Students must address instructors in a respectful manner and never speak whilst the instructor is speaking during a lesson.

 

  • When training, care must be taken at all times to avoid accidents and you must respect your training partner.  Any accident or injury must be the responsibility of the individual concerned, not Chadwell Kickboxing or the affiliated associations or the training establishment.

 

In the training area you must never engage in idle chatter, fool about, Chew Gum or consume any food.  Never enter the training area after having consumed alcohol.  Always wear correct uniform or authorized training attire.  Ensure all training equipment is clean.  Ensure foot and hands are clean and nails clipped short.  No jewelry must be worn whilst training.

 

  • Students who wish to compete must have a fully paid up current license (For Insurance purposes).

 

  • Belts must be worn at all training sessions for grade identification purposes. (Except students who have not yet graded).

 

  • All students must conduct themselves in a sportsman-like manner.  Bullying either physically or verbally will not be tolerated.  Derogatory remarks must not be spoken against any person, any other Martial Art and proper respect should be given to them at all times.

 

  • follow the instructions you are given at all times.

 

  • LICENSES.

 

  • IT IS A REQUIREMENT THAT ALL STUDENTS OBTAIN THEIR LICENCES AFTER 1 MONTH...it's our law.

 

  • ask your instructor if you do not understand any of the above.

this code is for everyone, students and instructors alike! due to the nature of the art we teach, we have to have rules, this will in no way restrict you in your training, we hope that you find us informative and fun, & above all safe.
